At SpectrumOne Sports, we’re building a team of passionate, movement-minded professionals who are ready to bring adaptive sports and ABA-informed coaching to children across the Greater Houston area.

Top Qualifications We Prioritize:

  • Current or Previous RBT Certification: This is our #1 screening criteria. Applicants with ABA and behavior support experience are highly preferred.

  • Experience with Neurodiverse Children: Whether through education, therapy, PE, or direct care—we’re looking for people who get it and love working with kids.

  • Athletic, Energetic, and Engaged: You don’t need to be a pro athlete, but you should enjoy movement, be comfortable modeling sports skills, and bring strong presence to sessions.

  • Adaptable & Compassionate: Our kids need patient, flexible coaches who can pivot in the moment while reinforcing a child-led experience.

  • Bonus Points For:

    • Special Education, Psychology, or Kinesiology background

    • Coaching, fitness, or recreational therapy experience

    • CPR/First Aid certification

  • 💪 Active & Athletic: You have experience with sports, fitness, or physical education—and enjoy leading drills and movement activities.

  • 🧠 Patient & Adaptable: You stay calm under pressure, support different learning styles, and adjust quickly based on a child’s needs.

  • 👂 Responsive Communicators: You’re able to take coaching, collaborate with caregivers, and document progress clearly.

  • 🎓 RBT certified, pursuing BCBA, or experience in special education, kinesiology, or adaptive PE.
